Q: When is payday at BrightStar Care? What options are available to get paid? A: As a Brightstar employee you are paid weekly on Fridays'. You can be paid in one of three ways. Direct deposit, Wisely Card, or paper check.
Q: When does my timecard need to be submitted by each week in order to be paid on Fridays? A: All time cards, clock-ins/clock-outs, nursing and/or caregiver notes, and task list need to be submitted by Monday @ 10am
Q: Where can I see my paystubs? A: Paystubs can be viewed on the ADP Workforce application
Q: If I have a question about payroll, who should I contact? A: You can email staffing-westptld@brightstarcare.com for any questions or issues with payroll.
General Questions
Q: How do I notify the office about being late for a shift? A: You need to call the office at either (503) 620-6011 or (503) 620-6088 to notify us. Text or email is not allowed for this reason
Q: What should I do if there is inclement weather in my area and I'm scheduled for a shift? A: Call the office and discuss with the staff on call about how to proceed.
Q: Am I allowed to give out my phone number to the clients I care for? A: No. Caregivers are not allowed to give out personal cell phone numbers to clients. All communication should take place with the Brightstar Care office.
Q: How do I update my schedule availability? A: You can update your availability on your MABS device. We provide instructions on how to do so under the training section on this website
Q: Why can't I see the address of the client when shifts are offered via text message? A: To protect the client we do not send client specific information through a mass text. We can and will provide on a private channel/text if requested
